« An exquisite aperitif made with strawberries from the Alps » is how Chambéryzette was described at the time. It is a blend of Alpine valley strawberries with the unique Vermouth de Chambery. Created by Rosalie Dolin in 1902, Chamberyzette had its heyday on the terraces of Lyon and Parisian cafés, and, in the earliest of France’s ski resorts. The success of this “Chambéry-fraise” furthered the reputation of the Maison Dolin abroad. Still to this day, this mildly sweet aperitif is appreciated for its conveyance of the bright tastes and aromatics of wild strawberries.

Chambéryzette is the perfect aperitif for anyone looking for a fragrant, rich spirit to enjoy in the shade of a beach umbrella. It is exceptionally versatile and adds a bright, balanced note of strawberry to drinks such as a spritz, a vodka soda, a Martini, or a wild strawberry Negroni. It stands out from the simplistic and overpowering sweetness of other French strawberry aperitifs and liqueurs.
