200 Years of Passion

From the romantic mountain spirits of the 19th century to today, Maison Dolin has come a long way. We have continually refined, nurtured, and evolved the expertise of our pioneering founders—just as a fine liqueur matures over time. More than ever, we are committed to honoring this heritage by taking the greatest care at every stage of crafting our products.

Dolin's Expertise

What Is Behind the Quality of Our Products?

Carefully Guarded Recipes

The history of our Maison is so rich that it continues to inspire everything we do. Our predecessors passed down their finest recipes from generation to generation, like treasured family secrets.

Today, we continue to distill these unique spirits according to traditional methods, with the same passion and dedication. We study these time-honored recipes to unlock their secrets while creating new expressions that embrace evolving tastes and modern trends.

Premium Ingredients

Even the finest recipe is only as good as the ingredients behind it. That is why we select every botanical with the utmost care to ensure our products deliver their distinctive character and flavor. From cultivation to distillation, every plant and fruit we use receives our full attention. We work with local growers, carry out rigorous quality audits, and build lasting relationships of trust with our suppliers.

Mastering Maceration

Maceration is the process of steeping botanicals over an extended period in alcohol, wine, or simply hot water to extract their aromatic compounds and natural colours.

Our expertise, refined over generations, lies in selecting the right botanical blends, balancing their proportions, and determining the ideal maceration time—each carefully adapted to the desired result. This subtle alchemy is what shapes the spirit’s quality, the richness of its flavour, and the beauty of its colour.

Distilled in a high-quality still

Since its founding, Dolin has always produced its own herbal liqueurs—the cornerstone of its traditional recipes—in-house.

Our high-performance Stupfler copper still enables us to achieve exceptional results, particularly for our Génépi, renowned for its remarkable finesse and delicate aromas. Opening the still at the end of a distillation remains a truly spectacular moment.

A Team Driven by Passion

Dolin Distillery remains a family-owned business to this day.

Our team brings together experienced employees who have faithfully contributed to the company for decades alongside new talent whose fresh perspective helps us continually improve and innovate. Each person contributes unique expertise that enriches our Maison and preserves its enduring spirit.

Maison Dolin

A true novel

Joseph Chavasse, the pioneer; Marie Dolin, the bold woman who presented her vermouth at the Philadelphia World’s Fair; Joseph Sevez and the revival of the distillery… the history of Maison Dolin reads like a true novel. Over the years, the figures who shaped its journey have overcome many challenges so that we can still offer you today these spirits so rich in flavour.
